Introducing Custom Book Stacks

Have you seen the newest design favorite? Book stacks are books attached together and tied with twine, raffia, and/or ribbon. The books are handpainted and either stamped, stenciled or decaled with your favorite saying. Books can be made of wood or can be actual books, either softcovered or hardcovered. The final product is perfectly imperfect! Custom books stacks make for an awesome decor piece for your home!

Since getting my cricut I have been experimenting with different products. I came across a winner, I think - handmade book stacks. My book stacks are made from actual upcycled hardcover books. I have been a frequent shopper at Goodwill and Dollar Tree looking for the perfect hardback. This one-of-a-kind decor piece is lovingly created with meticulous attention to detail, reflecting the handcrafted quality and authenticity that Susan Newberry Designs is renowned for. Each book is hand-painted and delicately stacked, creating an elegant and heartwarming addition to any home decor.

Our book stacks are made from high-quality materials, ensuring durability and longevity. The books are real, upcycled hardcovers, carefully selected for their size and shape before being painted in a harmonious combination of aqua and white. The stack measures approximately 9 inches in length and 5 inches in width and 3 - 4 inches in height, making it a perfect fit for your bookshelf, coffee table, or mantel.

Hi, I’m Susan! I’ve spent the last 10 years building my online company. I’ve always loved everything to do with design. In fact, after raising my kids, I decided to go to school and get my degree in Interior Design. While running my own interior design company, I started teaching and found that teaching was what I really loved. Combine that with Interior Design and well, you could say I was on cloud nine. I always loved the technical side of design which led me to graphic design and after studying graphic design, I was encouraged to open an Etsy shop to sell some of my creations. With my attention to detail and being somewhat of a perfectionist, graphic design made perfect sense. In December of 2018, I decided to retire from teaching and devote myself full time to my business and I haven’t looked back since! I love designing art for the home and would love to create something special for you.

It’s true what they say, “Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life.”
