What is modern farmhouse? Modern farmhouse decorating is warm and cozy. It's full of charm and character. It's traditional without being fussy. It's comfortable and inviting. Farmhouse decorating combines shabby chic with industrial design. It's not you grandma's style of decorating, thus modern farmhouse decor.

My collection of farmhouse decor complements the modern farmhouse color palette of grays, black, beige and soft whites. Combining rustic and country elements with modern aesthetics, it satisfies the needs of those seeking the year's hottest décor style.

I don't use wood, which is typically used in farmhouse decor, but canvas, which is much lighter and easier to work with, allowing the homeowner to customize each piece to his or her liking.
