Greeting Cards: A Lost Art?

Thank You Card by SND Printables

Are greeting cards a lost art? Well, I hope not. That would truly be sad. In this age of texting and emailing, letter writing has become a lost art. But what better way to brighten someone’s day and put a smile on their face than by sending a greeting card with a personal message inside.

When I first started my Etsy business back in 2012, I started with handmade greeting cards. Over the years my store evolved and my specialties became custom prints and canvases, particulary for weddings and anniversaries. When Covid started back in 2020 I openened a second shop with Printable Wall Art. This month I decided to branch out and add printable greeting cards to my shop. Whenever I needed a greeting card, I would create my own. I always received a lot of complements on my cards so it was natural that I start adding them to my Printable Shop.

Who doesn’t love receiving a card in the mail? Actual shopping for the perfect card can be quite time consuming but shopping for digital greeting cards online can be quite fun! Check out Etsy! The nice thing is that once it’s paid for, you have the card for life. That means you can print it over and over again. All you need is a decent color printer and some card stock.

Many people who love getting cards, like to save them and keep them to read over and over again. A well chosen greeting card can become a keepsake and a reminder of someone or something that you will always treasure.

You can purchase my cards here.

free Bonus Envelope

When you purchase one of my printable greeting cards, you will also receive a FREE A7 (5 x 7) bonus envelope template with instructions. Envelopes can be printed on standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper. We recommend card stock or heavy weight paper for both cards and envelopes for best results.

Here are some of the designs that are currently available. New designs are added weekly. If there is something you would like, just let me know. I love doing custom orders.

EVERYONE NEEDS A REASON TO SMILE

It’s easy to make someone smile with a personalized greeting card. Who in your life can you reach out to to let them know you are thinking of them and provide words of encouragement? Is there someone you’ve been meaning to reach out to, someone you need to thank? Say hello with a greeting card. You can bring a smile to someone’s face with a greeting card and a simple personal message. Sending a card to someone you care about is as much about receiving love as it is about showing love. And when you think about it, love is all that matters.

Hi, I’m Susan! I’ve spent the last 10 years building my online company. I’ve always loved everything to do with design. In fact, after raising my kids, I decided to go to school and get my degree in Interior Design. While running my own interior design company, I started teaching and found that teaching was what I really loved. Combine that with Interior Design and well, you could say I was on cloud nine. I always loved the technical side of design which led me to graphic design and after studying graphic design, I was encouraged to open an Etsy shop to sell some of my creations. With my attention to detail and being somewhat of a perfectionist, graphic design made perfect sense. In December of 2018, I decided to retire from teaching and devote myself full time to my business and I haven’t looked back since! I love designing art for the home and would love to create something special for you.

It’s true what they say, “Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life.”
