What materials are customized blankets made from?
At Susan Newberry Designs, we offer three types of blankets: Minky, Sherpa, and Woven.
Super Soft Minky Blankets are made from 100% polyester, featuring a super-plush fleece fabric. The dimensions of 30” x 40” make it an ideal size for babies and toddlers. Additionally, the blanket is available in larger sizes of 50” x 60” and 60” x 80”. The minky fabric includes special anti-pill fibers, making it easy to maintain. Caring for the blanket is simple—just wash and dry it, although a gentle wash is recommended.
Our sherpa blankets are incredibly soft and made from 100% polyester fleece, making them easy to wash and care for. Each blanket features a rustic whip-stitched edge and has a white sherpa reverse side. They are extremely comfortable and come in three sizes: 30" x 40", 50" x 60", and 60" x 80".
Our woven blankets are made from 100% cotton and feature a fringed edge. They can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle. These heirloom-quality blankets are versatile and can even be hung on a wall. Available sizes include 37” x 52”, 50” x 60”, and 60” x 80”.
Susan Newberry Designs currently offers a great selection of custom blankets. Additionally, any of our designs, including photos, can be printed on sherpa and minky blankets.
WHAT ABOUT SIZE?
The small size is perfect for babies and pets. The medium size works well as a throw and is the most popular option. The large size is ideal for large sofas and beds.
