Introducing Pantone's Color of the Year for 2018

Last month, Pantone Institute, the color industry that chooses the color of the year, announced that Ultra Violet would be the color of 2018. According to executive director Leatrice Eiseman Ultra Violet  “communicates originality, ingenuity and visionary thinking.”

The color purple is often associated with royalty and nobility. Purple is a symbol of luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic.
