French Inspired Decorating Ideas - Parisian Chic
French Inspired Decorating is very popular these days. Everyone wants a little bit of Paris in their homes. Whether it's a French country cottage or a Parisian palace, Parisian Chic is in. Want to add a little bit of Paris to your home? Here are my top ten tips to add Parisian Chic to your home:
Tip One: Paint a cabinet or armoire. Soft blue is an excellent color choice.
Tip Two: Add roses in a painted tin or kitchen crockery.
Tip Three: Add some Parisian hat boxes to a dresser or buffet. These are so cute and easy to make.
Tip Four: Add soft and feminine linens in white and natural.
Tip Five: Add some linen pillows.
Tip Six: Reupholster an antique chair with a fresh modern fabric.
Tip Seven: Cover some old books with romantic paper.
Tip Eight: Add a mannequin. This one is an easy DIY project.
Tip Nine: Add lots of French baskets. Fill with everyday items such as flowers, books, kitchen items or linens.
Tip Ten: Add an old mirror.
Some of these projects are easy DIY projects. Incorporate one or more to add Parisian chic to your décor. I'd love to hear how you add French charm to your space.
