The Colors of Spring 2016
"Sometimes all you need is a little splash of color." ~Unknown
Pantone Colors of Spring 2016
Pantone is the well-known authority on all things color. According to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute colors this year "transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves." Last fall, Pantone released the top ten colors that we will be seeing and wearing this spring. The colors for spring are both calming and peaceful as well as bold and playful. On the calming side are rose quartz, limpet shell, serenity, lilac green and on the bold side are fiesta, green flash, snorkel blue and buttercup.
We all know that color is a deeply personal thing. In fact, the same color can mean different things to different people. Color impacts our mood, our appetite, and our energy level. What's your favorite color?
