My Favorite Bedroom Organization Ideas for 2016

A new year means it is time to get organized! Everyone likes a pretty space but the goal of organization is not about how it looks, it's about how it functions. And if you can achieve both looks and function, well then, that's a bonus! Over the next few weeks, we'll look at different ways to organize your home. Today we'll start in the bedroom. Here are some cool DIY ideas that I found. Most are very easy and look fun to do. I wonder why I didn't think of them!

Bedroom Organization Idea #1: I love these Drawer Dividers and the best part is that you can find them at Target. These would be great to organize a sock drawer.

Bedroom Organization Idea #2: Do you hate all the chargers that seem to collect and junk up your nightstand? How about this adorable DIY Charging Station made out of a shoe box?

Bedroom Organization Idea #3: I love this idea on organizing drawers using acrylic adjustable drawer dividers. And the best thing is they are DIY.

Bedroom Organization Idea #4: Repurpose old drawers to add storage to under the bed.  These were made from scratch but you could easily add casters to old drawers to get the same effect.

Bedroom Organization Idea #5: Here is a great idea that would work in any room! Check the source for a complete tutorial on how to turn a bookcase into a window bench. This shelving unit is from IKEA.

Hi, I’m Susan! I’ve spent the last 10 years building my online company. I’ve always loved everything to do with design. In fact, after raising my kids, I decided to go to school and get my degree in Interior Design. While running my own interior design company, I started teaching and found that teaching was what I really loved. Combine that with Interior Design and well, you could say I was on cloud nine. I always loved the technical side of design which led me to graphic design and after studying graphic design, I was encouraged to open an Etsy shop to sell some of my creations. With my attention to detail and being somewhat of a perfectionist, graphic design made perfect sense. In December of 2018, I decided to retire from teaching and devote myself full time to my business and I haven’t looked back since! I love designing art for the home and would love to create something special for you.

It’s true what they say, “Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life.”
