My Latest Word Cloud Design

I want to share one of my latest designs that I created for my office. This word cloud design was inspired by a customer who wanted a large word cloud to display on her wall during her Zoom meetings. I thought that was a wonderful idea and wondered why I hadn’t made one for myself! I wanted it to be large enough to make a statement over my desk.

Here’s how it looks! What do you think? No, my desk is not normally this neat!

The first thing I did was to make a list of words and phrases that represent my business; words and phrases that identify what I sell and where I sell. I decided on a 40 x 20 canvas and framed it in white float frame.

Word clouds are one of my favorite designs to create. What sets our word clouds apart from others is that we meticulously craft them by hand; we do not use any word cloud-generating software. To me, it's similar to putting together a puzzle. You provide the words and phrases, and we handle the rest.

We have a wide variety of word clouds available on Etsy and Susan Newberry Designs, and we are always open to new ideas. We can also do custom shapes, like logos and animals. We even did a kidney once!

Susan Newberry

Hi, I’m Susan! I’ve spent the last 10 years building my online company. I’ve always loved everything to do with design. In fact, after raising my kids, I decided to go to school and get my degree in Interior Design. While running my own interior design company, I started teaching and found that teaching was what I really loved. Combine that with Interior Design and well, you could say I was on cloud nine. I always loved the technical side of design which led me to graphic design and after studying graphic design, I was encouraged to open an Etsy shop to sell some of my creations. With my attention to detail and being somewhat of a perfectionist, graphic design made perfect sense. In December of 2018, I decided to retire from teaching and devote myself full time to my business and I haven’t looked back since! I love designing art for the home and would love to create something special for you.

It’s true what they say, “Love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life.”
